Serve-a-Thon is held in the spring and gives students the opportunity to learn what service is and how it can be accomplished with others while working as a team. The Serve-a-thon is a great learning opportunity for kids to see that there are people in need that they can help. It allows the children to get out in the community and serve. The entire NCES student body, preschool-12^th grade participates and serves at various locations each spring around the Kansas City area. Some of the organizations include: Harvesters, Hands of Hope, Oakmont Christian Riding Academy, helping local churches and more!
