Thank you for your interest in Northland Christian Schools. The mission of every Northland Christian teacher and staff member is to nurture your child’s relationship with the Lord. As we walk this faith journey with your child, we prepare students to pursue excellence in academics, arts, athletics, and sciences in order to bring God glory through their lives.
We have a spot for your child, and we are looking forward to getting to know your family through the application process.
As part of the admissions process, students will be evaluated on the following criteria:
For K-12 families, parent(s) must be an active member of a local Christian church as validated by a pastor at that church.
For K-12 families, at least one parent must profess a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of their life.
Parent(s) must agree with the statement of faith for the Northland Christian Education System.
The student must have a sincere desire for a Christian education and must be willing to submit to the standards and regulations of the school.
The student's record of behavior at home, in the church, in a previous school (if applicable), and in the community, must indicate a commitment to good citizenship and an understanding of parental authority.
Applicants entering ninth grade must provide a written testimony of their born-again experience and give evidence of a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
The student must be of suitable age for the grade assigned. Children entering kindergarten must be five years of age on or before August 1st of the year they enter school.
A student transferring from another school must be in good academic standing. Should the student's accomplishments be below his grade level as evidenced by transcripts or SAT scores, the child may be admitted on a probationary status (for one semester) and may be placed in a lower grade as suited for the student's academic abilities.
School records must be reviewed by the principal, before acceptance is granted for all new students.
