Financial Aid Program

Northland Christian School’s long-term goal is to provide Christian education that is accessible, affordable, and sustainable. Our ongoing desire is to partner with Christian families in the discipleship and education of their children. For that purpose, the Board of Education has authorized a Tuition Assistance Program to aid families in the cost of tuition.

The financial assistance process is to be completed AFTER the enrollment process is completed and enrollment fee is paid.

Please contact financialaid@ncblazers.org for more information.

SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Please take a look at each of these to see if your student(s) may qualify and reach out to financialaid@ncblazers.org with any questions.  These have some differing qualifications so some families may only qualify for one but others may be eligible for multiple.  For example, if you currently receive the MOScholars scholarship, it is very possible you could also receive ACE and use them both!  Or, if you don’t meet all the requirements for MOScholars, you could possibly still qualify for ACE.  Also, families that qualified for MOScholars for their Kindergarten or 1st grade student may be able to receive ACE for their older students.  We strongly encourage each family to check their eligibility for these great opportunities and apply as soon as possible!  If you do meet the qualifications and move forward with applying, please email financialaid@ncblazers.org so that they can be on the lookout for those awards.

MOScholars Scholarship Program

  • Qualifying families are awarded up to $6,375 per year per child.

Financial Aid Facts

1.

Applicants must go through the enrollment process first. An applicant’s financial ability is not a factor in the admission decision.

Deadlines

Current families can begin applying for aid January 15th. First Consideration deadline for returning families is February
12th.  Awards will be notified at or around the end of March.  New families can apply following open enrollment on February 13th.  Second round reviews will be notified at or around the end of April. Additional applications will be accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis; however, the majority of financial aid resources will be committed to families whose applications are completed and submitted on a first come first serve basis. A new application must be submitted every year.

Eligibility

Only families who feel that they are not able to pay full tuition should apply. For the 2024-25 school year, tuition assistance is only available for full-time students enrolling in grades K-12. Any account balances owed by the applicant must be current in order for the tuition assistance application to be considered. Once tuition assistance is granted, aid may be revoked in the event of non-payment.

Process

Applications this year will be completed
through our new system FACTS. The application period will open on January 15. Apply by completing the application form. ALL requested verification paperwork must be remitted to complete the application.  The cost to submit an application is $40 per family and is non-refundable. The program is coordinated through the school's accounting department, superintendent, and a financial aid committee. Enrollment fees must be paid before a family’s aid application will be considered by the financial aid committee.

While the school is not able to provide financial assistance to every deserving student, we make every attempt to work within the available resources for that school year to make the school accessible to as many students as possible.
