Mr. McCubbin holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education and Religion and a Master's Degree in Educational Administration and Leadership. Mr. McCubbin is the pastor of First Baptist Church of Holt. He is married and has six children, who have all attended Northland Christian.
Mr. Becker graduated from Calvary Bible College with a BA in Secondary Education - Mathematics and Bible. He has worked for more than 40 years at Blue Ridge Christian School and Marian Hope Academy where he has served in every role from teacher to coach to Superintendent. Mr. Becker is passionate about Kingdom education in the classroom and on the field. He and his wife, Deb, have 4 grown children and 7 grandchildren.
Mr. Smith has received his Master’s in Organizational Leadership and Bachelor’s in Business Administration-Management from Columbia Southern University. He found his way to Missouri from Southern California thru Tennessee, where he met his wife Marcella, compliments of the US Army. He currently serves as one of the Associate Pastors at Christ Chapel, home of our Platte City Campus. Joe and Marcella have two boys who attend Northland Christian.
Mrs. Tanner graduated from University of Missouri - Kansas City with her Bachelor’s in Physical Education. She is married and has 4 sons who attend Northland Christian. She enjoys competing in all sports, coaching, college athletics, and photography. Mrs. Tanner is the Varsity Volleyball coach (Go Blazers!).
Mrs. Carlson has a Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Organizational Communication from NWMSU and a Master’s in Organizational Communication from UNO. She was immediately drawn to the presence of the Spirit and Christ-centeredness of the amazing staff at Northland Christian. She and her better half, Rance have three boys that have attended NCS since pre-school.
Mr. Rich's education career has spanned more than 30 years. He has been a social studies teacher, athletic director, administrator and coach. He is married and has five grown children. “My career has never defined who I am or what I believe. My life’s work will hopefully be recognized as serving our Lord first, family second and loving others third; everything else is just not that important.”
Mrs. Parnell obtained her Bachelor's degree from Wichita State University in Accounting and has worked in public and private accounting within numerous industries, including non-profits and churches. Reading, family time, and fellowship with close friends are some of her favorite activities. Mrs. Parnell and her husband Brian have three children who will attend NCS for the duration of their primary and secondary education.
Mrs. Brown received her bachelor's degree from University of Central Missouri and has been at the school for more than 15 years in various capacities. She enjoys writing Christian fiction, reading, watching basketball (GO Blazers!), and spending time with her family. Mrs. Brown is married and has one son who is an alumni of the school.
Mrs. Melton has a Bachelor’s degree in Intercultural Studies from Briercrest College in Canada. She grew up in West Africa and then spent 3 years with her husband and two daughters in the Middle East. She loves to bake, play games with her family, and add stamps to her passport. She has two daughters who attend Northland Christian.
Ginger Zupan studied Accounting and Business Management at UMKC and has significant experience working in education in different capacities. She has been involved in local churches as a youth director, office administration, and small group leader. She loves cheering on the K-State Wildcats! Ginger is married and has one daughter who is 2016 alumni of the school. The Zupan family has been involved with Northland Christian since 2008.
Mrs. Patterson (Coach P) moved the Kansas City, MO area after having worked with the University of Minnesota Crookston football team as a volunteer assistant coach. She was also the Team Chaplain and Lead Motivational Speaker. Coach P has been a Christian since 1975, is a licensed inter-denominational minister and is a published author. She has one son, Joshua.
Mrs. Chapman has been in education in various roles for more than 10 years. She moved to KC from Atlanta, Georgia last year as her husband’s family started the franchise Zaxby’s. She has two girls who attend the Liberty Campus. She and her family attend Liberty Christian Fellowship.
